Hello friends,
I am Sohini, and welcome to my blog!
I am a cancer cell biologist and immunologist, an amateur science communicator, a wife and most importantly, a dog mom.
I grew up in India where I completed my BS in Chemistry and MS in Biochemistry. I came to the United States in 2012 to pursue PhD in cancer cell biology and immunology. Currently, I am a postdoctoral research scholar focusing on immune therapy in cancer. I have always been an avid reader. My love for writing is a newly made self discovery. I never wrote journals before. But in the recent past, I realized that writing helps relieve stress to a great extent. Therefore, I felt launching my own blog would give me a platform to vent more and share my experiences and feelings with others.
This blog will be a snippet of my life with some words and pictures- my adventures, mishaps, discoveries and a little bit of science from time to time.
Have a look around it is okay to science! and get in touch if you have any questions, or if you want me to cover something specific.
Cheers!

The letter I never wrote
Baba, I barely ever have time to write these days. But I had hoped to do so today. It is hard to think that you have been gone for two years already. It still feels like yesterday, yet I’m not sure if a lifetime has already passed. Before it was a day ago… a week…
